The Japanese company Metaplanet achieved ¥2 billion ($13.33 million) from its 10th Series of Ordinary Bonds to acquire more Bitcoin assets. Metaplanet Accelerates Bitcoin Accumulation with 0% Bonds

The company document from March 31 indicates that the new bonds receive no interest yet will be entirely paid back by September 30, 2025. All the issued bonds went to EVO FUND, a vital financial ally for Metaplanet’s corporate strategy. The company shows an aggressive plan to accumulate Bitcoin through its latest capital increase position, making it a leading player in the global digital asset market.

Metaplanet invested an additional 150 BTC into its treasury fund, averaging ¥12.57 million per Bitcoin on March 24, which increased its total BTC possession to 3,350. Metaplanet started its Bitcoin portfolio development after adopting Bitcoin as a primary treasury holding in 2024 and invested ¥42.22 billion ($270 million) through the company. Metaplanet is the largest Bitcoin-holding corporation in Asian territories through its strong commitment to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Yield is a crucial performance indicator for the company. It evaluates Bitcoin’s holding growth percentage against a fully diluted share count. The Bitcoin Yield for Q4 2024 dramatically increased to 309.8%, while its Q1 2025 measurement currently stands at 68.3%. Since the company started acquiring Bitcoin, its stock price has experienced a staggering upward movement exceeding 3000%. The financial market greatly approves Metaplanet’s Bitcoin-focused strategy through these critical financial metrics.
